2019 Ram 1500 Power & Handling

Ram powers the 1500 pickup truck with one of two engine options in the 2019 model year. The standard engine is the award-winning Pentastar 3.6-liter V6. This engine cranks out 305 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque. The second engine offered is the more powerful 5.7-liter Hemi V8 that pumps out 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. Both of these engines are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission for a smooth and comfortable ride. New for the 2019 model year is the introduction of a Mild-Hybrid eTorque system that uses a motor-generator and a 48-volt battery for increased torque if needed and enhanced fuel economy. This system comes standard with the V6 engine and is optional for the V8. Rear-wheel drive is the standard drivetrain configuration and four-wheel-drive is available for all trims.

There are a lot of engine options available for the 2019 GMC Sierra. The first engine is a 4.3-liter V6 that creates 285 horsepower and 305 pound-feet of torque mated to a six-speed automatic. Another option is a 2.7-liter turbo inline-4 that comes paired with an 8-speed automatic. Two versions of a 5.3-liter V8 engine are available, one paired with a 6-speed automatic and one with an 8-speed automatic. Both create 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. The final engine available is a 6.2-liter V8 engine that produces 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. RWD is standard while 4WD is available.

Ram offers the 1500 in six incredible trim levels for the 2019 model year. The standard features for the base Tradesman model are bountiful!
