Now that November is in full-swing, it's time to look ahead to the holiday season. If you're planning on doing any traveling, we want to make sure you stay safe with a few essential tips as many roadways will be packed during this busy time of travel.
- Remain cautious: Between heavy traffic to inclement driving conditions (if you're traveling up north) it's important to take it slow and give yourself some extra time to get to your destination. Plan out your route in advanced to see if you can avoid peak traveling time and hazardous driving conditions if possible.
- Book a service appointment: If your vehicle is in need of an oil change, new tires, windshield wipers or another essential service or part we highly recommend tending to basic maintenance before embarking on the open road.
- Be prepared: During peak travel time, it's important to know where you're going and stay the course with a navigation system as well as printed maps. Don't forget to clear your headlights and check your spare tire before you leave. It also wouldn't hurt to keep an emergency roadside kit in your trunk with a flashlight, medical kit, jumper cables, etc.
Keep these tips in mind to stay safe and don't forget to book a service appointment at our service center if necessary!
