On the right side sits the 2019 Ford Edge that boasts a refreshed exterior style and more standard features. Read on to find out which SUV is the best fit for your lifestyle!

2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Power & Handling

When we say there is a Grand Cherokee engine for every driver, we mean it! The standard option is the Pentastar 3.6-liter V6 that produces 295 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. Rear-wheel-drive is the standard configuration with this engine but 4WD is available. Other engines options include a 3.0-liter diesel V6 that generates 240 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque and a 5.7-liter V8 that creates 360 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque. The SRT trim level houses a trim exclusive 6.4-liter V8 that produces 475 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. The Trackhawk also houses an exclusive engine, a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 that kicks out 707 hp and 645 lb-ft of torque. All of these engines come with four-wheel-drive as standard. Each engine is mated to an 8-speed auto transmission. Plus, the Grand Cherokee can tow up to 7,400 lbs!

2019 Ford Edge Power & Handling

There are just two engines to choose from when powering a Ford Edge. The first engine is a 2.0-liter turbo inline-4 that generates 250 hp and 275 lb-ft of torque. Front-wheel-drive is the standard drivetrain configuration while all-wheel-drive is available. The second engine, a 2.7-liter twin-turbo V6, produces 335 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque. All-wheel-drive is the standard drivetrain configuration for this engine. This engine is only available with the ST trim level. Ford pairs both engines with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Towing is not so great with this SUV, maxing out at 3,500 pounds.

2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Features & Design

In addition to an engine for every driver, there is a Jeep Grand Cherokee trim level for everyone. They range from the base Laredo to the off-roading Trailhawk and even the performance-ready Trackhawk. Standard features consist of a 7-inch touchscreen, a rearview camera, rear parking sensors, dual-zone automatic climate control, keyless entry and ignition, a six-speaker sound system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, rear parking sensors, and so much more! The upper trims, specifically the Limited, Overland, and Summit add features like heated front and rear seats, a power liftgate, remote engine start, a self-parking system, premium Harman Kardon audio system, noise-reducing glass, upgraded leather upholstery, advanced safety features, and more! The Trailhawk comes with off-roading geared features while the SRT and Trackhawk are outfitted with performance-geared features.

2019 Ford Edge Features & Design

The Ford Edge is offered in just four trim levels. The standard features include a 4.2-inch central display screen, Bluetooth, a rearview camera, a USB port, a six-speaker sound system, height-adjustable driver’s seat, automatic wipers, and driver assistance features. The ST trim adds more performance geared features like a sport-tuned suspension, and variable-ratio steering.
