What does the 2021 Gladiator have for engine options?
The first place that we are starting with the Gladiator is figuring out what you can get for an engine underneath the hood. We’re happy to say that this mid-size truck comes with two engine options. The base engine is a 3.6-liter V6, which comes standard with a six-speed manual transmission. It is also able to get up to 285 horsepower and around 260 pound-feet of torque. The other engine, which we have mentioned previously, is a 3.0-liter diesel turbocharged V6, which can produce 260 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque. Standard with this engine is an eight-speed automatic transmission. As you can tell, Jeep has done everything they can to ensure that this is a truck that will never run into any issues. So, if you’re looking for a vehicle that can do it all, then you need the Jeep Gladiator.
What does the Gladiator offer for trims?
Even after you’ve figured out which of the two available engines you want, that doesn’t mean that you have this truck figured out. There are four major trim levels that you will be able to choose from! The base trim is called Sport, which comes with a folding soft top, a fold-down front windshield, cruise control, one USB port, an eight-speaker audio system, voice control capability, crank windows, manually adjustable mirrors, cruise control, and a five-inch central display system. Another impressive trim is Overland, where you’ll find automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, power windows, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, two USB ports, heated power mirrors, a 7-inch display interface, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. Mojave sits at the top with a reinforced frame, a Desert Rated badge, a 1-inch lift for the front suspension, FOX internal bypass shock absorbers, and a transfer case.
What kind of safety can I get with the Jeep Gladiator?
