Several engine options are available for the Durangos and each option is more powerful than the last. The first few trims come standard with a 3.6-liter V6 that gets you a solid 295 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque which pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The R/T trim sits in the middle of the pack, and it starts the range of the V8 engine options. This one is a 5.7-liter V8 that gets you 360 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque which will also come with the smooth eight-speed automatic transmission. Last but not least is the SRT, which uses a 6.4-liter V8 that pounds that pavement with 475 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque.
