VENTURE FARTHER
Hybrid Mode
The default mode, Hybrid, combines torque from both the 2.0L turbocharged engine and the electric motors. This combination provides maximum horsepower, instant torque, and the best acceleration. Electric power is consumed first.
Electric Mode
When the battery has more than a 1% charge, it can run in Electric Mode. This allows for nearly zero tailpipe emissions up to highway speeds. The vehicle can run in this mode for up to 21 miles.

Power Through
Wrangler 4xe delivers an impressive 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of instant torque for heart-pounding performance off-road and on-road. The torque provided by the electric motor improves rock crawling capabilities and powerful speed off the line. And for impressive traction, it's the Industry's First PHEV with Front and Rear Locking Differentials.
OPTIMIZE EVERY RIDE
Regenerative Braking
This feature allows the battery to be charged when decelerating and braking. The Max Regeneration feature remaps the accelerator pedal to command more aggressive regen at low pedal positions. It allows you to slow the vehicle down without the brake pedal, but a complete stop always requires the brake pedal. It also stays selected until you turn it off.
Recharge
The battery can be fully recharged in approximately 2 hours using an available Level II charger (240-volt) or 12 hours using the included Level I charger (120-volt). Start charging at home to enjoy the benefits of commutes on pure electric power.

If you want power and capability, you have come to the right place! The Wrangler 4xe is all about these things and more, thanks to the whisper-quiet engine. The base engine is a turbocharged four-cylinder that adds a battery pack and two electric motors, creating a massive 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque and 25 miles of all-electric range. Paring with this engine is an eight-speed automatic transmission that provides you with a smooth ride both on and off the road. You will find the battery pack under the rear seats, so you can't get it wet thanks to the massive amount of water fording. When the battery drains, the 4xe will immediately switch to gasoline power making it an ideal hybrid vehicle. You will be able to get the Wrangler on all four-door versions of the Wrangler!
What features can I get with the Wrangler 4xe?
On top of having one of the best engines on the market, the Wrangler 4xe also has a ton of advanced features that are sure to make drivers and passengers very happy. Standard items include 20-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry, push-button start, an 8.4-inch infotainment touchscreen, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, dual-zone automatic climate control, leather upholstery, and an Alpine audio system. You also get the latest version of the Uconnect system, which features faster speeds and can hold more memory and on higher trims comes with a navigation system. Impeccable off-road capability of the Wrangler 4xe
Because the Wrangler 4xe is a Jeep vehicle, you know it has superior off-road capability! Do you want your Wrangler 4xe to go over brooks and streams? It can! The Wrangler 4xe has over 30 inches of water fording. You will also find the air intake placed underneath the hood, so you can't get it wet or damaged in any way. Then there are the off-road features, of which there are many. Most of these will come via the Rubicon 4xe time as it is standard with a 4x4 powertrain, a Selec-Trac two-speed transfer case with a 2.72:1 low-range gear ratio, and the highly innoativeDana 44 solid front and rear axles. Other standard off-road features include a Rock-Trac 4x4 system, a two-speed transfer case with a 4:1 low-range gear ratio, Tru-Lok electric front and rear locking differentials, and 33-inch all-terrain tires!
