What is a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle?
There are two types of used vehicles: Certified Pre-Owned and Used. How does a Jeep SUV earn the Certified Pre-Owned badge?
In order to be considered a certified pre-owned Jeep each SUV is put through an extensive 125-point inspection and a complete reconditioning process that only utilizes authentic Mopar parts. The inspection starts out by making sure the Jeep is less than five model years old, has less than 75,000 miles, a clean title, no frame damage and that any aftermarket additions do not affect the safety, operation or emissions of the vehicle. It is then put through the intense inspection that covers ownership materials, pre-road test underhood checks, operational checks, and a road test (that covers steering performance, equipment operation, powertrain and braking performance, and vehicle comfort). As well as a post-road test, maintenance standards, interior and exterior condition, and interior and exterior detailing.
