Engines of the 2022 Challenger
With over seven different models in its 2022 lineup, you can bet that the Dodge Challenger provides an equally diverse selection of engines! The 2022 Dodge Challenger offers five different engines to be exact, and each one is more powerful than the last. On the SXT and GT trims, you’ll find a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 rated at a respectable 303 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque. Moving up to the R/T, the standard engine is a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 which delivers up to 375 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque when fitted with the six-speed manual transmission. Next up, the Scat Pack trim features the naturally aspirated HEMI 392 V8 engine, which provides a robust 485 horsepower, and 475 lb-ft of torque. The final three trim levels all have unique variants of the 6.2-liter HEMI V8. For the Hellcat, the engine is supercharged to provide 717 horsepower, and 656 lb-ft of torque. The Hellcat Redeye features a high-output version which kicks out 797 horsepower, and the Super Stock has a specially-calibrated version to deliver an outstanding 807 horsepower!
2022 Dodge Challenger Features
Aside from its outstanding engines, the Dodge Challenger offers tons of exciting features that help to complete the classic muscle car experience in a fully modern way. One new feature for the 2022 model year is an advanced security alarm system that will help keep your vehicle secure. This system will come standard with the Scat Pack and all subsequent models, but it’s available for the whole lineup when you opt for the Driver Convenience package. As far as standard features, the SXT starts you out with dual-zone automatic climate control, a six-speaker sound system, and a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen complete with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration. The GT adds a remote start system, fog lights, and rear parking sensors, and the Scat Pack adds a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, and an 8.4-inch touchscreen. For the Scat Pack, Hellcat, and Hellcat Redeye, you can also opt for a Widebody model, which adds 3.5 inches of overall width, as well as six-piston Brembo brakes, and wider Pirelli tires on 20-by-11-inch wheels.

Possibly the most appealing aspect of the Dodge Challenger is its wide array of performance features!
