Fuel saver technology turns off four of the eight cylinders when the extra power isn’t necessary, seamlessly switching between high-fuel-economy four-cylinder functionality to breathtaking V-8 take-off at the press of the throttle. Last, the 392 cubic-inch 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 revs within the quickest and most powerful SUV on the market. The Durango SRT has 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque to leap forward from zero-to-sixty miles-per-hour in just 4.4 seconds. It covers a quarter-mile in a NHRA-certified 12.9 seconds thanks to a load of performance-specialized features such as active damping, a fine-tuned suspension with stiffer front and rear springs and rear sway bar, and center air inlet hood design. Brembo high-performance six-piston and four-piston calipers and vented rotor breaks at all four corners guarantees a swift, responsive stop.
