Trim Levels of the 2019 RAM 1500
With immense capability, rugged utility, and more standard and optional features than you can count the 2019 Ram 1500 is one tough truck to beat. With so many amenities available it’s best to just dive right in, so keep reading as we break down all six of the Ram 1500 models.
Tradesman: The Ram 1500 Tradesman is one impressive work truck powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine producing 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. Inside the Tradesman model you’ll find a 5-inch touchscreen display, Bluetooth, a six-speaker sound system, a backup camera, dual USB inputs, vinyl flooring and upholstery, air conditioning, push-button ignition, a rear-seat USB charging port, cruise control, and a 40/20/40-split folding bench seat. On the outside of the Tradesman you’ll find features such as a locking tailgate, automatic headlights, a Class III hitch receiver, heated side mirrors, trailer sway control, and 18-inch steel wheels. Several options are available for the Tradesman include a Class IV hitch receiver, towing mirrors, cloth upholstery, a spray-in bedliner, and trailer brake control.
Big Horn: With even more features we have the Big Horn model which adds cloth upholstery, floor carpet, fog lights, tinted windows, 18-inch alloy wheels, and a 60/40-split folding rear bench seat. Ram also offers several options for the Big Horn including side steps, dual-zone climate control, an 8.4-inch touchscreen, smartphone integration, air suspension, and LED headlights and taillights.
Rebel: The off-road oriented Ram 1500 Rebel comes with skid plates, front tow hooks, off-road tires, an electronic-locking rear axle, fortified shocks and suspension, a hill descent control, a 3.92 axle ratio, a Class IV hitch receiver, a 115-volt power outlet, LED headlights and foglights, front bucket seats, a power-adjustable driver seat, satellite radio, and a larger driver information display.
Laramie: The Laramie starts to introduce luxurious features such as leather upholstery, front and rear parking sensors, heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, keyless entry, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, an 8.4-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a nine-speaker sound system, two rear seat USB inputs, a 115-volt rear seat outlet, power-adjustable 40/20/40-split bench front seat, and dual-zone automatic climate control.
Longhorn: With even more luxurious features is the Longhorn model with heated and ventilated reclining rear seats, upgraded leather upholstery, front bucket seats, a leather-wrapped wood steering wheel, automatic high beams, a navigation system, spray-in bedliner, power tailgate release, chrome side steps, and 20-inch wheels.
Limited: Sitting at the very top of the model lineup is the Limited with even more amenities including power-retractable side steps, adjustable air suspension, premium-leather bucket seats, blind-spot monitoring, chrome exterior trim, and rear cross-traffic alert.
Ram offers most of the higher level trims features as stand alone options for lower level models, so you can get exactly what you’re looking for at the price you want to pay. There’s also several addition features you can equip any version of the Ram 1500 with including bed lighting, adjustable tie-downs, the RamBox bed storage system, blacked-out grilles, and different towing and trailering packages. An available 12-inch touchscreen, forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, and a surround-view camera system are all exclusive options to the Laramie, Longhorn, and Limited models.
