The Jeep heritage brand is best known for its off-road power and capability. The Gladiator has four main trim levels in the 2022 lineup, and each one offers a variety of exciting features such as standard 4-wheel drive, tow hooks, and Dana 44 solid axles. There are also two trim levels that take the Gladiator’s off-road abilities to the next level with features like all-terrain tires, skid plates, FOX shock absorbers, and more. For added utility, each trim level of the 2022 Jeep Gladiator lineup features a five-foot flatbed, and seating for up to five passengers. Plus, the Gladiator also gives you the ability to remove the top and doors for the full open-air experience. Continued down below, we’ll be filling you in on the features of the four main trim levels of the 2022 Jeep Gladiator lineup! Keep reading to learn more!

Sport

The Sport offers tons of standard features, including the base engine for the lineup, which is a 3.6-liter V6 rated at 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The Sport has Jeep’s iconic seven-slot grille, round headlamps, and the overall front-end appearance that’s also shared by the Jeep Wrangler. However, in the rear you’ll find a 5-foot bed, perfect for storing all of your gear. The Sport features Dana 44 solid axles, crank windows, manual door locks, and a standard 7-inch infotainment touchscreen. The Uconnect 4 infotainment system also supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration. Other features include push-button start, and trailer-sway damping.

Overland

The next trim level up after the Sport is the Overland, which takes things to the next level in terms of comfort and convenience! The Overland features tinted rear windows for a sleeker look, and it also has power windows and power door locks. There’s also a keyless entry system, as well as automatic headlights. Inside, you’ll find a leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, and USB ports in the front and rear. The infotainment system is upgraded for the Overland, and it features a built-in navigation system, and an 8.4-inch touchscreen. Lastly, you’ll also be treated to a premium 9-speaker Alpine audio system.

Rubicon

The Rubicon is up next, and this trim level offers an exceptional array of off-road features! The Rubicon is Jeep Trail Rated for its capabilities, and it features all-terrain tires, locking front and rear differentials, and FOX shock absorbers. While all Gladiators come with standard 4-wheel drive, the Rubicon has the more robust Rock-Trac 4X4 system for better rock crawling ability. It also has the ability to ford over 30 inches of water, and tow up to 4,500 pounds when properly equipped. The Rubicon features underbody skid plates, as well as off-road rock rails to keep your undercarriage protected against the uneven terrain. Lastly, there’s also a disconnecting front sway bar for better articulation in your front wheels.

Mojave

Last but certainly not least, the Gladiator’s 2022 lineup is rounded out by the Mojave. This model is similar to the Rubicon in terms of off-road capability, but the Mojave’s specialty is sandy terrain. In place of the Rubicon’s Jeep Trail Rated badge, the Mojave has a Desert Rated badge. Some things it has in common with the Rubicon are its all-terrain tires, FOX shock absorbers, and high-clearance fender flares. However, the Mojave also has its own unique features such as a front hydraulic jounce bumper, a reinforced frame, and a 1-inch front suspension lift. Other features include a Mojave hood decal, and orange interior accents.
