We highly recommend the R/T trim, for instance, comes with the first hybrid engine in Dodge's history and has a base turbocharged four-cylinder and then mixes in a battery pack and two electric motors, which impresses with its high horsepower and torque. GT
The base trim for the 2023 Dodge Hornet is known as the GT, which has several advanced features, but before we tell you about all the tech and features that the GT has to offer, we need to tell you about what the GT has for a powertrain. Under the hood sits a 2.0-liter four-cylinder Hurricane engine that delivers an exceptional 265 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Now that we have the power option covered let's move on to the features! The GT comes standard with aggressive exterior styling along with LED headlights. All-wheel-drive comes standard, as does a nine-speed automatic transmission. Other standard features include wireless charging, a navigation system, a Harmon Kardon premium audio system, and more!

R/T
The next trim level that the Hornet has to offer is the R/T which is standard with a turbocharged 1.3-liter four-cylinder with an electric motor at the rear axle. This engine pumps out 288 horsepower, and if you need an additional 25 horsepower, there is a "Powershot" option that will temporarily boost your performance so you have enough acceleration to pass other vehicles on the highway. As for features, the R/T is perfect in everyway as it comes standard with a 12.3-inch digital instrument display and a 10.25-inch Uconnect 5 infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You can also customize your home screen with various temperature and music settings, which comes in clearly on the 14-speaker Harmon Kardon audio system.

Track Pack
