The Chrysler 300C marks the end of an era with some exciting performance. The high performance of the 300C begins with a 485-horsepower 6.4-liter HEMI V8 with 475 horsepower. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission with 160-millisecond shift times, aiding the power to give drivers a 0-60 time of just 4.3 seconds. The 6.4L HEMI V8 is known for its throaty V6 growl. That’s why the Chrysler 300C uses Active Exhaust to encourage the growl. With an electronically-controlled valve that opens when the gas pedal is pressed and closes when the gas pedal is released, the Active Exhaust system lets out that V8 growl whenever the time is right! With powerful engines, you need to make sure to maintain traction. To do that, Chrysler gave the 300C an electronic limited-slip rear differential. The 300C is equipped with Brembo high-performance brakes to keep all the power in check.
